The event was held at the Marriott in Troy, Michigan. It marked the 15th anniversary of the INTEX Achievement Awards for Interior and Exterior Excellence. The Intex Achievement Awards honor union contractors and suppliers for their extraordinary work in architectural interior and exterior labor. The INTEX Achievement Award has been recognizing Interior and Exterior Systems excellence in the architectural trade industry since 1995.
